A few months ago I was working on "Luigi's Island Adventure," a highly unfinished scene in Unreal Engine 5 inspired by Super Mario Sunshine, with all assets and shader setups designed by me. I think the most fun part of this was trying to emulate the overall design principles of Mario games, while also using modern workflows and shading techniques. I just want to share what I was able to make over about a 2 week period, and I hope to eventually get back to this project.
