Liminal Space 01 (Offline Render)

This was a scene/lighting composition study I did in Blender Cycles. My goal was to stylistically adapt my references to create a minimalist, yet visually pleasing scene in a short amount of time. I focused on tuning the scene through material properties and lighting decisions.
-----
This was made in my spare time over the course of two days to help train my eye. I put an emphasis on tone/mood rather than trying to replicate my refs 1:1. I think I was successful at creating the piece I set out to make, that being a desolate, kind, and nostalgic place I could almost remember walking through as a kid.
