Cherry Blossom Tree

This was a personal project to grow my skills with realistic vegetation authoring and my technical skills with SpeedTree Modeler.
I sculpted and painted the flowers by hand, used SpeedTree to generate the branches for the atlas, and then stitched procedural branches onto a custom trunk I sculpted/painted.

The tree is a Somei Yoshino variety of cherry blossom.
